What more can I say?

Well, let’s face it. You’re here either to hire me for a project or for a job. First, thanks for taking the time to check out my work and consider me. That truly means the world. I love what I do and being able to do that for a living is something I do not take for granted.

You may have looked at other designers, and I’m sure they’re great. If I may, here’s a bit about me. I graduated college at the end of the housing crisis. It was hard to find a full-time position - the economy was down and nobody wanted to hire some kid with little experience. So I took any position or gig I could, oftentimes where I was asked to do something a designer normally isn’t asked to do. As a result, I have experience in copywriting and editing, UI/UX, social media, event planning, photography, sales, coding, and video editing. I have worked directly with clients, sales and engineering teams, CEO’s and boardrooms, worked in just about every field imaginable, and I’ve flown across the country to get the job done. I fell in love with learning and growing and trying new things.

I am hard-working and motivated, whether by myself or in a team. I put a strong emphasis on being on time for work every day and with deadlines. With my design work, I show my employers and clients something they've never seen before with an emphasis on attention to detail and following any direction that is given. I bring a different and modern perspective to my work, learned through working in multiple mediums. No choice is made without care and attention.

A few professional accomplishments include:

  • Creative lead on top to bottom rebrand at Manning Kass, a national law firm. Designed new logo, website, business cards, marketing materials, social media campaign, and more. Worked with third-party vendors to ensure quality and consistency across digital and printed projects. Reported directly to firm Managing Partners and COO.

  • Creating millions of dollars in sales through designing marketing and sales materials for sales staff for an industrial company.

  • Increasing followers on several social media accounts by tens of thousands of followers through a consistent, methodical approach and fresh, bright designs. Unique clickthroughs and impressions increased to over 20,000 per month, and social media followers increased by 6,000 over a year at one brand.

  • Raised over $100,000 in money and toy donations over the course of four years for annual drive.

  • Designed layout and graphics for best-selling Amazon book of first-time author.

  • Part of a team that successfully launched 3 mobile apps and raised over $8,000 in a successfully funded Kickstarter campaign.

  • Wrote, designed, and photographed all elements of 100+ page magazine that was distributed to over 100,000 potential and current clients for an industrial company.

  • Created logo, website, social media pages, and brand guides for dozens of businesses and individuals.

Still need more convincing? I know some great jokes, and I love puns. During the pandemic, I fell in love with cooking and baking, so I’ll bring in treats to the office. I’m always down to talk sports or the latest Marvel movie/show. And I’ll never back away from a discussion that includes whether or not a hot dog is a sandwich.
